Water and Wastewater - Treatment Facilities

CMA Engineers and its principals and staff are experienced in the planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater
treatment facilities. Many of our communities' wastewater treatment facilities were constructed in the 1970's and 1980's. Many of the
mechanical components of those facilities might have been projected to have a useful life of 10-15 years when new. In many cases, much of
the original equipment is still in use, a decade or two after one would expect to initially consider equipment replacement. Capital

planning and major equipment replacement will be necessary to provide facility reliability into the future. CMA Engineers has been
responsible for the engineering for pumping, process, sludge thickening and dewatering, odor control, disinfection and general facility
improvements for treatment facilities.
